Ready, Set……………Go? Connecting with Clients in the New Year

There are so many options out there to stay connected to your clients, just be sure and do something!  To be noticed, remembered, and at the tip of your clients thoughts, you have to stay in contact with your clients. Some may say postcards work for them, or marketing newsletters, and then the popular client contact mailings with business greeting cards.  Sure I would love for you to choose my company Client Connector , but there are others to consider.

First look at what your time is worth, as that will be needed to start a program, and with some programs a lot of your time. Budgets are always a concern when selecting client contact programs, sometimes starting small with a hand written note would be in order.  If you are busy, and have a database that needs attention asap, then consider using an automated direct mailing service. How nice to be able to submit your database and be done for a complete year! When looking at programs here are a few things to consider:

  1.  Is the mailing program billed all up front, or as your mailings go out
  2.  Are you proofed before mailings go out
  3.  Who takes care of your database management
  4.  Can you get a hold of someone in customer service easily?  If you can’t at the beginning it         probably won’t get better as the year goes along
  5.  What are the basic costs, and the add on fees
